QATAR ISLAMIC BANK
Known as the first Islamic bank in Qatar, QIB, also known as Qatar Islamic Bank, is also the largest financial institution of Islamic origin in the state. Established in 1982, the bank’s products and operations are governed by the Sharia board with strict adherence to the Islamic financial principles. With a significant share of the Islamic sector in the region and the domestic banking sector in general, the bank has some 32 branches within the state and an equally distributed network of some 175 ATMs. Currently listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, QIB has over the years acquired a number of other banks, most notably, the Asian Finance bank in 2005.

The QIB Gold credit card is one of the three card variants provided by Qatar Islamic Bank. The card is globally accepted and can be replaced at any time anywhere in the world. Moreover, it features a fast approval process as well as a 100% cash withdrawal facility.
