RoadStar campaign to award 30 safe drivers AED 1,000 on the spot

To create awareness and promote safe driving, a road safety campaign named Mobil 1 RoadStar is being organized in Dubai and Sharjah by Ciel Events & Marketing. It will search for and award cash prize of AED 1,000 each on the spot to 30 responsible drivers from Monday to Wednesday.

The campaign will be organized in Dubai on Monday and Tuesday and in Sharjah on Wednesday. Each day it will award 10 drivers. Winners will be selected by Police officials and campaign organizers, who will check for practices like wearing seat belts, use of child safety seats, lane discipline, courteous manners, using indicators and hands-free mobiles and adherence to speed limits.

The Police department of the concerned emirate will also give a certificate to the winners. This campaign, held twice a year, is now in its 35th edition.
