Dubai ranked 5th highest paying city for banking directors worldwide

Dubai has been ranked among the top five highest paying cities for banking directors worldwide, according to a survey conducted very recently by Emolument.com, a crowdsourced salary comparison website created in 2012.

The cities that were better positioned than Dubai in the rank list are Hong Kong, New York, London and Singapore, in that order. While Dubai was positioned second in terms of the highest salaries paid to its bank directors, overall the emirate got ranked at the fifth position when bonuses were also taken into consideration.

Hong Kong, which tops the list, offers the bank directors an yearly average of US$539,000 (salaries and bonuses). Meanwhile, the survey also found that New York pays the highest average salary of around US$115,000 per annum to analysts in banks.
